At the pre-op today they
had a specialist in there. He took one look at the xrays, examined Olivia, and
said "this is a congenital disorder". Up until now they thought it was something that had healed incorrectly after injury. This is not a very common disorder, and in the hospital here they have never operated for
it. The doctor said I should get an appt. at a children's orthopedic clinic where
they actually have experience with this. SO, we don't know what this means for her, but for now it means no surgery in 2 days! So thankful for the Lord's protection - sending this specialist rather than finding out the hard way during the surgery.
